The Dreams Collection has arrived! 💕🌺⭐️

I am beyond excited to finally announce that The Dream Collection Necklaces are here! ⭐️💕🎉

Each handcrafted necklace has a butterfly that symbolizes empowerment, liberation and growth and is a physical representation of the dreams of refugees and immigrants around the world.

As many of you know, my family came to Canada in 1992 after the war in Sudan drove us into a refugee camp in northern Uganda. We all managed to build our lives with all the opportunities here despite many hardships. For that, we are grateful. 🙏🏾

But one thing that stuck in the back of my mind is that not all of the children in that camp got the opportunity to get an education and make their dreams happen - especially girls. In addition to the many horrors that they face, some girls as young as 14 are pulled out of school and are forced into early marriage as a means to provide money for their families via dowry.

This is why 50% of proceeds will go towards the education of an at risk girl in Adjumani, Uganda, where many refugee settlements are overrun.

Educating a girl empowers her to make decisions for her own life. 🦋

It may not seem like much, but your purchase of each necklace is one step closer to changing the narrative for girls in East Africa.

Love you all! 💕🙏🏾
